OK.... UPDATE ...... AS of May 14 2008, we have secured funding for the paving the way. The only catch is that the funding will not be available until after April of 2009. So as such, we will be paving the way next summer for sure. W have been talking with several charter boats and after we hear from the insurance company we are feeling quite good about securing an agreeement within the next 2 weeks with a support boat to help us on the trip.

The Time HAS COME! We have been getting so much interest in this event, we have decided to move up our goal and pave the way this summer, (2008) We are actively seeking sponsors to help us fund this. As soon as we get the sponsor(s) we are going to run it.

Each watercraft that goes on this trip will be carrying a transponder so that every one around the world will be able to watch from their computers our progress. When someone clicks on the riders transponder blip it will pull up a profile of the person riding the watercraft, it will display your Name (the Sponsor) and everyone who clicks on this blip will be reading your name or company name.
We will be using the same system that the Iditarod used this year to track their racers and over one million people logged in to watch the iditarod.
We will be contacting every news and adventure network that we can like ESPN, the outdoor channel, PWCTV, and every news channel to get the most exposure possible.
